Vijay Pandurangan
Vijay has over 20 years of experience building software and managing engineering & product teams at companies including Google and Twitter. He also built Mitro (exited to Twitter) and spent some time as an EIR at Benchmark. He now works primarily in biotech.
Vijay invests, consults and teaches. He’s a sector-agnostic angel/seed investor in tech startups, including Wish, Pilot, Celo, BioRender and BigHat Biosciences. He teaches BIODS 253 — Software Engineering for Scientists at Stanford University.
Annia Mirza
Annia is an investor at Olima Ventures, where she splits her time between investing in sector-agnostic seed companies globally, and leading incubations (like this one!) in the biotech space.
Prior to Olima Ventures and Encode, Annia was the Head of Customer Success at Nomio, a seed-stage legal tech company focused on creating intelligent contract databases, as their fourth employee.
Subaita Rahman
Subaita leads content and community at Encode. Prior to Encode, Subaita was an investor in biotech companies at Pillar VC, the founder of Nucleate Dojo, a training ground for undergraduates looking to break into biotech, and the community lead at Ochre Bio.
Subaita is currently finishing up her undergraduate degree at University of Toronto.
